This is a collection of some of my creative writing. The idea of this blog is to have somewhere to collect my work and a way to showcase my style of writing. Please feel free to browse my work. The collection is purposefully very random so as to include as much of my work as possible and will continue to grow and expand. It will contain fictional stories, poems, reviews, articles and opinions on a variety of subjects that I've written over the years. I hope you enjoy browsing through the posts here!

The One That Got Away


I love the times that we talk together
I love the sound of your voice

and the way your eyes sparkle
as your laughter curls
around my heartstrings and tugs.

I cherish any moment spent with you
I find myself wanting more
than just a quick chat, a shared joke;
A rumour whispered
and a dream exposed.

But I am not the man for you
though you may be the girl for me.
Your heart belongs to another,
and you gave it freely
to a luckier man than I.
